Pug and Spitz

"Listen, Spitz, I want to ask you something;

you should tell me secretly

where did you hide the beautiful bone

that no evil thief discovers him?"

"No, pugs, I'd rather keep quiet;

it's the thief who wants to know."

The pug searched and smelled

until behind the stable it found the bone.

It already has it in its snout,

then it got a bad wage;

Herr Spitz takes it so roughly by the collar

it ran away screaming and lamenting.
